The opportunity
The Manager, Annual Giving leads the strategy and execution of a comprehensive annual giving program to generate sustainable revenue. This role develops and manages multi-channel campaigns across direct mail, email, digital, phone and monthly giving to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors. Working cross-functionally, this role uses data and insights to optimize performance, deepen donor engagement, and support continued financial growth.
What you’ll do
- Lead the overall strategy and execution of the annual giving program through donor acquisition, retention, and upgrades.
- Develop and manage integrated, multi-channel fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, digital, phone, and monthly giving to maximize reach and performance.
- Use data, analytics and testing to optimize results, monitoring KPIs, segmenting audiences, and continuously improving effectiveness and ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Resource Development, Marketing, Finance, and external vendors to ensure alignment, consistency and operational excellence.
- Strengthen donor engagement and stewardship by delivering compelling communications and experiences that build long-term donor loyalty and lifetime value.
What you bring
- 5 years’ experience in growing annual giving fundraising programs at a charity.
- Proven success in setting, meeting or exceeding acquisition and fundraising targets through online and offline tactics.
- Experience managing relationships with agencies and vendors to support growth and reach fundraising goals.
- Data savvy: Experience using CMS and CRM systems for data management (Blackbaud and HubSpot experience preferred) and other reporting and analytics tools.
- Ability to deliver timely, personalized, and impact driven stewardship
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven and effective project management skills and proficiency in workflow planning.

Compensation
